Alterik Ellis, 25, and Travis Defoe, 28, both of Jersey City, have been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of Jade Saunders on Oct. 26 on Brinkerhoff Street in Jersey City.
Both were arrested on Lexington Street in Jersey City.
Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said the two men were arrested on Nov. 5 by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit
Saunders, a local high school student, was shot to death on Oct. 26 in a residence on Brinkerhoff Street in Jersey City. A second victim at the scene was wounded.
Two additional shooting victims fled the scene and were later found, according to a release from the Prosecutor’s Office.
