VELTRE, MICHAEL A.

Funeral services took place Nov. 3 for Michael A. Veltre, 94, of Parlin, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away Nov. 28. Michael owned Anita’s Corner Luncheonette in Jersey City, before working as a delivery man for Tippy’s Restaurant. He also worked for the Jersey City Parking Authority. Michael will be remembered as a loyal friend, and a loving father, grandfather, and uncle. Surviving are Michael’s children: John Veltre and his wife Pamela, and Danielle Stafford and her Husband Ray; his grandchildren: Heather Rae, and Raymond; and his nieces: Angela Mannino and Elizabeth Capriola. Also surviving are many other nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Anita Veltre. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
