62, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away at home on January 28, 2019 with his family by his side. He served the city of Bayonne as a member of the Police Department for 32 years. Kenneth was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Elizabeth Kaczka and his brother Charles Kaczka. Left to cherish his memory are his Wife of 38 years, Eileen (Nee: Harz), his Children Brian {Captain BFD} and his Wife Sherry, Matthew, and Elizabeth and her fiancé James McDermott {NYPD}. He is also survived by his Sister Eileen Szweada and many other family members and friends. He treasured the time he spent with his granddaughter Mackenzie Elizabeth. His grandson, Brian Kenneth was so eager to meet his grandfather that he arrived a month early. The family would like to thank the members of the Bayonne Police Department and McCabe’s Ambulance Service for their friendship and support. They would also like to thank their colleagues and friends at Bayonne Medical Center, especially Dr. D. Iyengar. Lastly, they would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for the care that Kenneth received there.
