According to media reports, the body of a dead man was pulled from the Hudson River near the Hoboken train terminal on the afternoon of Feb. 10.
An officer had jumped in and attempted to rescue the man to no avail.

The officer was uninjured but transported to Jersey City Medical Center for observation.
