A memorial mass was offered Feb. 16 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hoboken, for Bernadette M. Micchelli, 55, of Weehawken. She passed away at University Medical Center in Newark on Jan. 25. Born in Newark, she lived in Queens, N.Y. and Hoboken before moving to Weehawken 14 years ago. Bernadette was a senior account executive and fragrance evaluator at Orpheus Ltd. Perfumers in Rockaway. She was a graduate of Drew University in Madison. Bernadette was a member of Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce, Inc., the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, and the South Jersey Bead Society. She was active in her church, Our Lady of Grace of Hoboken, and was an active volunteer for Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church – David F. Skinner Homeless Shelter, and Visiting Neighbors, New York, NY. Bernadette was predeceased by her parents Barbara (Pecora) and Richard Micchelli, Sr. She is survived by her brother Richard J. Micchelli, Jr. and his companion Ignathea Barrett of Hamilton; her uncles, Ronald Pecora and Charles Micchelli; her stepmother Jane C. (Scott) Micchelli and a stepbrother, Mark A. Gravely, and many aunts, cousins, and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed beading, cooking, baking and traveling. Services arranged by the Failla Funeral Home, Hoboken.
