OLDINSKY, ANDREW

A mass of Christian burial was held Feb. 25 at St. Mary of the Pines, Manahawkin, for Andrew Oldinsky, 85, of Manahawkin, formerly of Jersey City. He passed away peacefully on Feb. 21 with his daughter by his side. He was predeceased in 2016 by his wife Olga and his son Michael in 2013. Andrew is survived by his daughter Christine and her husband Alfred, and his grandchildren, Avalon, Matthew and Jessica. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew Debra Marotta, Donna Kebler, Brian Kebler and Ann Barry and his sister-in-law, Helen Kebler. Andrew was a veteran in the U.S. Army earning the rank of sergeant. He served his country in the Korean War. He worked at Jersey City Hospital in the Maintenance Department. He was employed with them until his retirement, at which time he and Olga moved to Manahawkin to be with his family. Services arranged by the Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home, Manahawkin.
