The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) invites the communities of Jersey City, Hoboken and Weehawken to a Design Zone Workshop on the Rebuild by Design project which aims to protect Hoboken and the surrounding area from flooding.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday, March 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center, 124 Grand St.
The workshop will focus on the southern alignment in Hoboken with portions of the alignment on Washington Street south of Newark St. as well as Observer Highway.
At this meeting attendees will be updated on the Middle Ground Alignment within Design Zone 4, and review a visual analysis within this zone as it relates to the Resist Structure; be updated on the design approach for urban amenities in Design Zone 4, and provide input on the look and feel of design interventions along the Resist alignment.
