Hudson County residents are invited to join Angel Hugs 4 All, Continuing Education, and the Office of Student Activities for a special family workshop in celebration of Women’s History Month.
In this hands-on crafting class students will learn how to create dolls that represent their favorite women in history, including their own personal heroes. The instructor will give a brief lecture about Women’s History Month, which will include bios of some trailblazing women.
Students will learn how to reflect on and express their thoughts and feelings through the creative process of doll making. Some famous dolls that can be made include Frida Kahlo, Malala Yousafzai, Maya Angelou, Amelia Earhart, and more.
Students are encouraged to bring their own images of women they would like to celebrate. All materials are included.
The class will take place on Saturday, March 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The class will be held in the Gabert Library, 71 Sip Ave. Space is limited, and cost is $5 per person.
