To the Editor:
Once again, our Board of Education Trustee Michael Alonso voted against another school tax increase. And again kept his promise.

The Hudson Reporter’s senior staff writer Al Sullivan was correct when he referred to Michael Alonso as a “Maverick.”
Trustee Alonso wanted to know why the school taxes are being raised when Bayonne just received $12 million from the State.
I cannot understand why these other trustees are so against helping the taxpayers when it is the taxpayers who are already paying 50 percent of their taxes to the school district.
Do these other trustees want the property owners to lose their homes?
