SADOWSKI, LORRAINE

A funeral mass was held April 1 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus, for Lorraine (Bobowicz) Sadowski, 88, of Secaucus. She passed away March 27 at her home. She was born in Jersey City and has resided in Secaucus for the last 64 years. Lorraine was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 3776 in Secaucus and was past president. Her interest in open space had her serving on the Secaucus environmental committee for a number of years. Lorraine loved gardening, bird watching and walking in Laurel Hill and Mill Creek parks with her dogs Rock, Sugar Bear and Lola. Paco the parrot was her constant companion and her personal security alarm. She was the wife of the late Henry Sadowski who died in 2007. She is survived by her daughters Charlene and her husband Gary Burke; and Mawrna Sadowski; her brother George and his wife Maryanne Bobowicz; and many nieces and nephews. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
