VETTER, PAUL K.

A memorial mass was offered April 4 at St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken, for Paul K. Vetter, 61, of Weehawken. He passed away March 29 at Palisade Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Born in Bronx, N.Y. to the late John and Lois Vetter, he grew up in Union City and later moved to Weehawken where he resided for over 30 years. Paul worked in the embroidery industry for many years before beginning his next chapter as a well known and concierge doorman at the Mandalay on the Hudson. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Eileen (Higgins), his son Paul and wife Melissa as well as his brothers John and wife Valerie, Frank and wife Sharon, James and husband Jose, Dave and wife Darleen and the late Thomas, as well as many nieces and nephews. His grandchildren were the joy of his life and he enjoyed every moment spent with them. They are Gabriella, Scarlett, Derek and Max. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Union City.
