CANNAROZZI, MATTHEW MICHAEL

A funeral mass was offered April 12 at St. Francis Church, Hoboken, for Matthew Michael Cannarozzi, 68, of Tamiment, Pa., formerly of Hoboken. He passed away on April 8. Born to Emil Cannarozzi and Lena Vitale, he went St. Peter’s College, becoming a CPA, and started Cannarozzi & Picardo, as well as serving Hoboken over 30 years as comptroller. He will be remembered for service to the Saint Francis Holy Name Society, as a Eucharistic Minister at St. John’s Parish, the Knights of Columbus, Eagle Lodge of Pennsylvania, and as an honorary member of the American Legion. Matthew joins his parents, and  step-father Raphael Vitale, in the hearts of his family and his memory will be treasured by his son, Matthew E. Cannarozzi, daughter-in-law, Gretchen Sommer, grandchildren, Dominic, Isabella, Gabriella, his brother, Michael Cannarozzi, sister-in-law, Arlene Cannarozzi, and many  nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
