UNIT 165 POPPY POSTER WINNER (Nicholas Oresko)

UNIT 165 POPPY POSTER WINNER — Emilia Mikhnevich, currently a 6th grader at Nicholas Oresko School, was honored at having her award winning Poppy Poster, “We Will Remember,” placed along the Hall of Heroes at Bayonne City Hall. Emilia’s poster was a winner on all levels of the contest (in her grade group) including the National Level of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her poster was sponsored by the F.A.Mackenzie Unit 165, Bayonne. Emilia was a 5th grader when she submitted this poster and won. With Emilia is Mayor James Davis. Also attending were Emilia’s mother, Volha Mikhnevich, and Unit 165 President, Linda Harris.
