This power plant would be the largest carbon polluter in New Jersey.
Its pollution would harm the lungs of children and other vulnerable groups.
Hudson & Bergen County already have an “F” rating from the American Lung Association.
Dangerous pollutants that would go into the air and our bodies include ozone, carbon dioxide, methane, carbon monoxide, benzene, arsenic, and particulate matter.
The Meadowlands power plans would also push us further towards climate catastrophe.
All the electricity produced would go to New York – none for New Jersey!
The power plant will not pay taxes for North Bergen schools like you and I.
