Immediately following the last day of school is a summer kids’ event called ROAR Vacation Bible School, hosted at Grace Lutheran Church. At ROAR, children discover that God is good even when life gets wild! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, test out sciency-fun gizmos, and create art masterpieces, all while being surrounded by God’s love for them. Each day they will learn through their safari celebration the teachings of the Bible. Snacks and lunch will be provided.
The classes will be held the June 24-28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aftercare is available till 3 p.m. The cost of the program is $25 per student and $30 for a family. The four-day program is open to children from 5 to 12 years of age.
“During Vacation Bible School, we will pull all the stops to create an atmosphere where the children feel God’s love, so they will know that when anything bad happens, regardless of how scared they feel, they are protected by God’s love” said Pastor Gary A. Grindeland.
