THE POWER OF THE WIND — Sixth grade students at Nicholas Oresko Community School recently finished reading the novel The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba, an inspirational story of perseverance and ingenuity. As part of their final project, students created “windmills” illustrating literary elements of the story, including turning points of the plot, character traits, setting, and theme.
