80, of Toms River died May 22, 2019 at Bayonne Medical Center. Born in Jersey City he resided in Bayonne for 40 years before moving to Toms River in 1997. He worked for the City of Bayonne as a Firefighter and an Inspector for 30 years before retiring in 1999. He served in the Marine Corp for 4 years. He is predeceased by his parents, Carl Deppe & Margaret McLaughlin Deppe and his brother Richard Deppe. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Helen K, son, Robert Carl and daughter, Monica Louis & husband Alan, 4 grandchildren, Robert J, Victor, Brittany and Alyssa, and great grandson Landon and sister, Gertrude Shackleton & husband Hubert and many nieces and nephews.
