STUDENT COUNCIL TRIP (All Saints)

STUDENT COUNCIL TRIP — ASCA’s Student Council and their moderators, Ms. Nicole Narese and Mrs. Diane Molesky, visited The Intrepid, Sea, Air and Space Museum Complex on the 6th Annual Leadership Trip. Students evaluated items from The Intrepid using physical characteristics and engineering design to determine what those items were used for, and they learned what daily life was like for the 3,000 sailors who serviced The Intrepid since the ship is considered a city onto itself based on its sheer enormity. The Student Council also toured the flight deck seeing up close the planes of yesterday and  today, including a decommissioned Coast Guard helicopter  that had been instrumental in over 1500 rescue missions.
