KIEFER, GEORGE

of Waxhaw, NC, passed away on June 4, 2019. Predeceased by his parents, Mary (nee: Trolan) and William, and his brother Jake, George fulfilled his goal to be the oldest living member of the Kiefer family at 88 years and 255 days. A graduate of Bayonne High School – Vocational School and Chicago Technical College, George was a piping designer for over 40 years. After the passing of his wife Kathleen (nee :O’Donnell) in 1985, George was both mother and father as he raised his two youngest children. He enjoyed his golden years living with his daughter Kara and her family in Louisiana, Georgia, and finally in North Carolina. He is survived by his daughters Mary Kay (Wally Ziolkowski), Gerri (Keith Necklen), and Kara (Burk Chuter), and his brothers Richard and William. George enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Dr. Gabrielle Necklen, Victoria Necklen, Kyle Necklen, Christopher Ziolkowski, Nicholas Ziolkowski, and Luke Chuter. Funeral arrangements by G.
