MY OWN PLANET (Horace Mann)

MY OWN PLANET — Mrs. Vargas’ 5th grade students at Horace Mann Community School studied the solar system. At the end of the unit, each student created their own imaginary planet. Along with the model, they had to write facts about their planet. These facts included distance from the sun, how many moons, how long is a day and a year, is there life on the planet, etc. Each student presented their imaginary planet to the class.
