Hoboken to host NJ Symphony Orchestra Monday, June 24

Mayor Ravi Bhalla and the City of Hoboken present the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra at Maxwell Place Park on Monday, June 24, at 7:30 p.m.

Maxwell Place Park is at 11th Street and Sinatra Drive North.

Admission is free, and guests are invited to bring a low-back chair or blanket.

In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Hoboken High School Auditorium at 800 Clinton St.

“The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra is one of the highlights of our cultural affairs programming during the summer,” said Mayor Ravi Bhalla. “I encourage all residents to come out and enjoy this wonderful musical performance on our waterfront.”

The evening will include music from composers Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Jose Pablo Moncayo, Florence Price, Arturo Marquez, Astor Piazzolla, George Gershwin, and Morton Gould.

The conductor will be Jose Luis Dominguez.
