KEANE, MARGARET COONEY

A funeral mass was offered June 15 at Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus for Margaret (Peggy) Cooney Keane, 94 of Secaucus. She passed away peacefully June 12 at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus. Peggy was born in County Mayo in Ireland, and came to the United States in 1956 settling in Greenwich, Conn. She was a former resident of Jersey City and North Arlington and Kearny before moving to Secaucus in 1989. Peggy was a dietician assistant at the former B.S. Pollak Hospital in Jersey City for 15 years before retiring in 1984. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Keane. She is survived by her friends Christopher and Joan O’Connor. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
