McGOVERN, THOMAS J.

73, of Old Bridge, NJ, formerly of Bayonne, passed away at home on April 22, 2019 with his family at his side. Born in Bayonne April 29, 1945 to the late Georgina (nee: Allan) and Eugene J. McGovern, he moved to Old Bridge 44 years ago. He is also predeceased by his mother-in-law Wanda Patufka. Thomas is survived by his wife, Pamela L. McGovern (nee Scheyzer), son Sean (Nicole) and grandson Patrick, daughter Erin McGovern, sister Georgene (Michael) Slootsky, brother Brian (Margaret) McGovern. Also sisters-in-law Judy (Theodore) Griffin and Barbara (Keith) Anderson and brother-in-law Steve Schwyzer (Cheryl). Tom had many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, and friends.
