REED-BRYANT, BARBARA ANN. A Celebration of Life Service took place June 14 for Barbara Ann Reed-Bryant, 66 of Jersey City. She passed away June 9, 2019 at Bayonne Hospital. She was born to the late Artis and Willie Mae Reed. She attended the Jersey City Public School System and worked for the Jersey City Housing Authority for over 23 years. Barbara married the love of her life, Joseph Bryant on March 27, 1987 and was a faithful wife for 32 years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Jean Reed, and her niece, Shakera Reed. Barbara leaves to cherish sweet memories, her beloved husband, Joseph Bryant; her devoted children, Tonya & Fatimah Reed; grandchildren, Yasmine, Elijah, Colby, and Tamir; sisters, Ethel Reed, Arlie Reed-Thomason, Lillian Serles, Evelyn Reed, Janet Spivey, Stephanie Reed-Glenn, and Veronica Reed; brother, Artis Reed, Jr.; in-laws, Yvonne Reed, Joshua Serles & Clarence Spivey, Jr.; and other loving relatives and friends.
