VACCARI, EMIL JOSEPH

Private funeral services have been held for Emil Joseph Vaccari, 90, of Union City. He passed away June 14 at his home surrounded by his friends. Born in Union City to the late Maria and Luigi Vaccari, Emil was a lifetime resident. He worked as a payroll auditor for the Carpenter’s Welfare Fund in New York City before retiring. Emil was predeceased by his wife Mary R. (nee Smithson.) He is survived by his friends Claudio Ruiz and his wife Agustina Suriel. His funeral will be private and as a Navy veteran of World War II, his cremains will be buried with his wife Mary in Veteran Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
