GRAY, ANDREW

Funeral services took place June 26 for Andrew Gray, 56, of Jersey City. He died peacefully surrounded by his family on June 23. Andrew was born in Jersey City and lived here his whole life. He worked as a roofer for the City of Jersey City in the Recreation Department for 20 years before retiring five years ago. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 211 in Jersey City where he would always say on the many fishing trips, “We fish the world.” Andrew was predeceased by his father Alexander. Surviving are his wife, Debra (nee) Curran; son Ian; mother Josephine (nee) Viciconti; brothers John, William and his wife Michelle; niece and goddaughter Alexis Gray; nephew Shane Curran; brothers-in-law John and Thomas Curran; sister-in-law Lynette Curran; and his friend Nellie Grossi. Services arranged by the Fallon Funeral Home, Jersey City.
