GRAF, GENEVIEVE (JEAN) BLYSKAL

89, passed away June 28, 2019. She was born in Bayonne on September 26, 1929 to the late Lucy (Cetnerowski) and Joseph Blyskal. Jean enlisted in the US Army in 1950, serving during the Korean Conflict until 1953 with the rank of Corporal. She continued her service as a clerical employee at the Bayonne Military Ocean Terminal. In 1954 Jean married William Graf. A member of American Legion and VFW Post 226 Bayonne. In 2002 Jean was awarded the New Jersey Distinguished Service Medal of Honor. Mother of David (Amy), Gerard (Judy), Kenneth (Barbara) and Janine (Michael). Sister of Edward and Alfred Blyskal and the late Henry, Josephine, Carol, Emily, Anne Oquendo, Estelle Gronczewski, Margaret Di Domenco and Eleanor Fabian. Grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 3. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice in memory of Jean are appreciated.
