SWIFT, FRANCES L.

A mass of Christian burial was offered July 3 at St. Aloysius Church for Frances L. Swift. She passed away June 30 surrounded by her family. Frances was a lifelong resident of Jersey City and a communicant of St. Aloysius Church. She was employed as assistant librarian at St. Peter’s University, retiring in 2007. Frances was predeceased by her husband Peter Swift, her son Peter Swift and her son Thomas Swift, who died at the World Trade Center on 9/11. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Deloughery (James), James Swift, Peter Swift (Trudi) and Patrick Swift (Evonne); grandchildren, Elisabeth Swift Mantilla, Michael DiCiancia, James Deloughery, Peter Deloughery, Theresa Swift, Francesca Della Fave, Gabby Della Fave and Gianna Swift; great grandchild, Cole Snuffer; siblings, George, Ronald, Edward, James and Linda as well as many nieces and nephews. Frances is also predeceased by siblings, Richard, Michael, Kathy, Thomas and Robert and William. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
