Cellist to perform for Hoboken seniors

On Tuesday July 16 at 7 p.m. renowned cellist Daniel Lelchuk will perform for Hoboken seniors at 76 Bloomfield St.

Lelchuk is a Washington Post featured musician and the assistant principal cellist of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra who has performed recitals around the world.

The event is sponsored by 1st Ward Councilman Michael DeFusco and is free and open to the public.

“Embracing the arts in Hoboken is essential to creating a diverse community that encourages makers and creators to invest in our city,” said Councilman DeFusco. “Daniel Lelchuk is a friend and incredible musician who shares in my vision to provide quality music to people from all walks of life and backgrounds. This free event will give our seniors the opportunity to come together for a relaxing evening and I look forward to seeing many of you there.”
