JERSEY GIRLS STATE PROGRAM (Bayonne High)

JERSEY GIRLS STATE PROGRAM — Two Bayonne High School students will participate in the 2019 New Jersey American Legion Auxiliary’s Girl State Program. This event is held annually and  will be held at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey on Sunday, June 23 thru Friday, June 28, 2019.  The two students who just completed their Junior year at Bayonne High School are Safa Elzanfali and Gianelli Rosado.  They will represent Bayonne’s, F.A.Mackenzie Unit 165 American Legion Auxiliary.  Girl’s State Program delegates are chosen based on their academic achievement, leadership, patriotism, and community involvement. They were all interviewed by Unit 165’s Girl State chairwoman, Linda Harris, who is also Unit 165 President.
