Funeral services took place July 27 for Philip L. Verdino, 84, of Union City. He passed away on Wednesday July 24, surrounded by his family. He was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of Union City. Philip was a Teamster and member of IBT Locals 560 and 641 in Union City. Philip was the husband of Antoinette (Toni) Verdino. He was the father of Julie Zaffuto and husband Salvatore and Nancy Verdino as well as the  grandfather of Kayla Yarrell. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
