A mass of Christian burial was offered on Aug. 7 at the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne, for Michael Vincent Nargi Jr., 16. He passed away with his family by his side on Aug. 1 at Hackensack Hospital. Michael was born in Summit and lived in Bayonne. He attended Bayonne High School and was going to begin his junior year in September. Michael was a kind and unselfish person who put other people before himself. He was an avid fan of the WWE, music (especially the band Kiss), and had many other interests. He was a super fan of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who was able to fulfill his Make a Wish. He was enthusiastic about school and everyone who met him was instantly attracted to his magnetic personality and contagious smile. He loved and lived life to the fullest! He will be missed by his mom Michele and everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him. Michael was predeceased by his father Michael Vincent Nargi (January 2018) and his grandparents Frank and Patricia Prokop and William Nargi. He was the son of Michele Nargi; brother of Michelle Quinones and her husband Edgar; grandson of Evelyn Nargi; nephew of William and Doreen Nargi, Eric and Viveca Nargi, Lilia Nargi and her late husband Eric and Elizabeth Nargi; uncle of Vincent, Marielle, EJ and Jada. Also survived by his cousins Joseph and Sabrina Eickenberg and their daughter Aubry, Matthew and Brian Nargi, Tom Nargi and his companion Marissa and their son Arthur and Brittany and Mallory Nargi; and his pets, his dog Gina aka Gigi who never left his side, and his Cockatiel Baby.
