Hoboken to host community meeting on Jefferson Park renovation

Mayor Ravi Bhalla and the City of Hoboken will host a community meeting to present proposals to renovate Jefferson Park in Southwest Hoboken.

“In addition to acquiring new open space, upgrading our existing parks is an important priority,” said Mayor Bhalla. “I invite residents to come out and provide input as we renovate Jefferson Street Park. Thank you to members of the Boys and Girls Club and HoLa for working with my administration on this important quality-of-life project.”

The proposals include new playground equipment and a new layout to maximize park space.

The meeting will be on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. at Jefferson Park, 123 Jefferson St.
