NY Waterway is restoring mid-day ferry service between Harborside in Jersey City and Brookfield Place/Battery Park City in Lower Manhattan to meet growing demand, starting Monday, Sept. 16, according to a press release.
Ferries depart Harborside every 15 minutes during morning and evening rush hours and once every hour mid-day, with the first ferry leaving Harborside at 6:05 a.m. and the last ferry leaving Brookfield Place/Battery Park City at 7:02 p.m.
Harborside is served by NJ TRANSIT buses and the Hudson/Bergen Light Rail. Parking is available at the entrance to the Atrium at Harborside, 210 Hudson St.
The fare is $7 one way, $6 on weekends. The monthly fare is $238.50, less than $6 per trip.
Rush hour and weekend ferry service is available between Harborside and Manhattan’s West 39th Street Ferry Terminal.
