DIAZ, MAURA

A mass of Christian burial was offered Sept. 10 at St. Joseph and Michael Church, Union City, for Maura Diaz, 58, of Union City. She passed away Sept. 4. Born in Lima Peru to the late Ricardo and Delia Diaz, Maura lived in Union City and worked for the Board of Education for over 30 years. She was presently a Security Guard at the Union City High School and was loved by both Teachers and Students. Survivors include her son Chris Gutierrez as well as her siblings Blanca Diaz, Ricardo Diaz and Juan Carlos Diaz. She is also survived by her niece Martha Diaz and nephew Carlos Sellan. Services arranged by the Leber Funeral Home, Union City.
