BACIA, STEVE

A celebration of life service was held Oct. 26 for Steve (Stevie/Stefan) Bacia, 62, of Haines City, Fla., formerly of Saylorsburg and Kresgeville, Pa. and Jersey City. He passed away suddenly on Oct. 11 in Davenport, Fla. Steve was the son of the late Idzi and Helen (Gadecki) Bacia. Steve spent many years working for R G Delivery, Hoboken. He loved being a contractor of many talents. He was of the Catholic faith and a graduate of Dickinson High School, Jersey City. Steve loved spending time on the water whether it was boating, cruising or swimming. He enjoyed playing darts, pool, roulette and playing the lottery. He liked helping people, but most of all, he loved his family. Steve is survived by his wife, Wendy Bacia, his children Cathy (Bacia) Bower, wife of Josh Bower, Aurora, OH, and Kimberly (Bacia) Johnson, wife of Matt Johnson, Baltimore, MD, and their mother, Marcia (Frankowski) Allen. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Chloe and Connor, his step-children, Ashley Yeh, wife of Mike Yeh, Kiersten Holmes, Hanna Holmes and Anthony Holmes and several step-grandchildren. In addition to his mother and father, Steve was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Bacia, Vinny Bacia and Lester Bacia and by his sister, Sophie Lewandowski.
