A funeral mass was offered Nov. 2 at St. Ann’s Church in Hoboken for Maureen Patricia Johnson, 76, of Weehawken, formerly of Hoboken. She passed away Oct. 30. Born to William and Martha O’Brien in Hoboken, Maureen grew and excelled at Track and Field, graduating from A.J. Demarest High School. Eventually she would meet the love of her life, Edward S. Maureen has joined her husband Edward, her parents William and Martha, and her brother John “Jackie” O’Brien in the hearts of her family. Maureen’s memory will be cherished by her children, including Patricia Brando and husband Michael, Diane Caban and husband Juan, William Johnson, Edward S. Johnson Jr., John Johnson, Richard Johnson and wife Karen, Michael Johnson and fiancé Alicia, her 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Richard O’Brien and Sharon Czornomor and husband Jerry, her aunt Dorothy Moran, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Services arranged by the Lawton-Turso Funeral Home, Hoboken.
