Dear Editor:
I want to give a special thanks to the children of Bayonne who generously (with some prodding from parents, I’m sure) donated a portion of their Halloween candy to Operation Gratitude, an organization in California which has sent out over 300,000 care packages with personal notes to military troops serving throughout the world. Our office, with the help of East Coast Catering have collected over 100 pounds of candy and notes to help in their effort. Thank you for your donations to make this another successful year.
