HALL, RICHARD LOUIS, JR.

Funeral services took place Nov. 16 at New Life Church of Christ, Jersey City, for Richard Louis Hall Sr., a retired Vietnam Veteran. He passed away Nov. 9. He was born in Jersey City to the late Hollie and Annie Mae Hall. Richard was raised and began his educational journey within the elementary schools of the Jersey City Public School’s system. He graduated from Snyder High School in Jersey City. Thereafter he attended in completed a plethora of training courses. On April 7, 1984 he became one with the love of his life, the late Dr. Claudia Lois Jane Brown Hall. Richard carried the torch of love for his wife of 34 years of marriage. Richard Louise Hall leaves to honor, cherish and his three children Surane, Keisha Hall-Humphrey (David) and Richard Louise Hall Jr. six beautiful grandchildren, Christopher, Derrick, Donte, Abraham, Raquel and Richard; one great granddaughter Aniya. His siblings, Harus Hall, Joseph Hall, Granville Hall, Bernice Stroman, Eula Mae Pugh, Isabelle Hall, Carolynn Hall and Clarice Brundage along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and in whom he loved all unconditionally. He also leaves to cherish, a host of friends. Services arranged by the Jackson Funeral Residence, Jersey City.
