MELI, VINCENT

Funeral services took place Nov. 14 for Vincent Meli, 98. He passed away peacefully at his residence on Nov. 11. Born in Malta, Mr. Meli immigrated to the United States in 1954. He resided in Union City for 65 years. Vincent served in the Army during W.W.II. He worked as an elevator operator in New York for 30 years before retiring in 1985. Predeceased by his loving wife Maria in 1997, he is survived by his two sons, John and his wife Maryann of Secaucus, Joseph and his wife Tracey of Secaucus, a daughter Pat Meli Cao and her husband Eddie of East Rutherford, five grandchildren Michelle, Nicole, Joe, Ryan, and Patrick. Services arranged by the Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus.
