WHITE, WILLIAM VINCENT

A funeral mass was offered Nov. 19 at St. Vincent’s Church, for William Vincent White, 73, of Sunset Beach, N.C. He passed away Nov. 8. William was born in Jersey City, and resided in Jersey City, Bayonne, Ramsey, Maywood, New Jersey and Sunset Beach, North Carolina since 2003. William was a highly decorated detective for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 30 years. During his career, he worked on the Organized Crime Task Force and the Joint Terrorism Task Force after the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He retired in 1998. He was predeceased by his parents Ruth and James White. Husband of Halcyon. Father of James and his wife Niccole, and Kevin and his wife Ellen. Grandfather of Joseph, Nicholas and Madison. He is also survived by a countless number of cousins. Services arranged by the G. Keenen O’Brien Funeral Home, Bayonne.
