Mayor Nick Sacco and the North Bergen Board of Commissioners will welcome an expected crowd of thousands of local residents to North Bergen’s annual Winterfest celebration on Thursday, December 5 at 6 p.m. The township’s largest annual event, Winterfest begins with a holiday parade from 85th street and Bergenline Avenue down to 76th street. That entire area of ten city blocks is set aside for the festivities, including rides and games for kids, performances by North Bergen school choruses, free photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a petting zoo and horse and buggy rides, food, music and tons of fun for the whole family.
