Victoria Swift and Matthew Christopher Grapstul to wed

Victoria Emma-Mary Swift, daughter of Laura Swift and Joseph Dounis of Jersey City, will marry her college sweetheart, Matthew Christopher Grapstul, son of Kathleen Matus and Wayne Grapstul of Bayonne. The ceremony will be held at The Lake House Inn, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with Reverend Jamal T. Johnson, on December 13, 2019.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Emma Swift and the late Stanley Swift Jr. of Jersey City. The prospective groom is the grandson of the late John Matus and Rose Matus, of Bayonne.

Victoria graduated from Dr. Ronald E. McNair Academic High School. Matthew graduated from St. Peter’s Preparatory High School. The two met and fell in love at The College of New Jersey.

Victoria currently works as a professor of Special Education and Feminist Disability Studies at The College of New Jersey, and is a doctoral candidate at Rutgers University. Matthew currently works as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

After honeymooning in Maui, HI, the couple will continue to reside in Ewing.”
