Dance is known to help reduce chronic health complaints, including – lessening doctor visits and providing easing of depression and increased socialization.
The American Medical Association also says that dance movement and combining a series of steps may alleviate early dementia symptoms and restore cognition in the human brain. Recently, the American Cancer Association announced that regular exercise even just 3 hours weekly can help reduce cancer risk by 30%.
Overall, dancing is fun, promotes physical fitness and can contribute to sustained good health.
