Hudson County Community College (HCCC) will offer Saturday classes on Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers. The training is specialized for athletic trainers, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, EMTs, paramedics and others who work in the healthcare field, and must be certified every two years.
The BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers classes will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, and March 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the HCCC Cundari Center, 870 Bergen Avenue, in Jersey City. Tuition is $85.00; student manual and certification card are included. The training uses a scenario-based approach to develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that drive better outcomes for adult, child and infant patients.
