McMAHON, KERWIN F.

Funeral mass took place Feb. 4 at St. Henry’s Church, Bayonne, for Kerwin F. McMahon, 92.He passed away Jan. 29 in Hollywood, Fla. Born in Jersey City, Kerwin was a graduate of A. Harry Moore School, Holy Family Academy, Juilliard School and Seton Hall University. An accomplished singer, Kerwin performed on Broadway and across the country. He hosted his own Radio Broadcast from the Hotel Roosevelt New York City called the Melody Hour. Kerwin was a pioneer of cable television. He was the senior vice-president of RMS Electronics New York City before retiring. Kerwin was predeceased by his wife Patricia (McCauseland) McMahon, his parents Mary Ann (Mulligan) and Bernard McMahon, and his brothers and sisters, Cornelius, Katherine, Bernard, Mary Rita, Veronica, Dorothy, and Charles Leo McMahon. Surviving are his brother-in-law Robert Clark, cousin Theresa Moffett and dear friend Brianne Boyle Schatz. Services arranged by the Sweeney Funeral Home, Bayonne.
