COSTELLO, JAMES A.

Funeral services have been held for James A. Costello, 86, of Jersey City. He passed away peacefully at his residence on April 4. Born in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, Ireland to the late Martin and Mary (née Laffey) Costello, he was a resident of Jersey City for 60 years. James served in the United States Army. He first worked for National Supermarket Inc., the Metro Glass Company, and the Trust Company of New Jersey, from which he retired after 22 years. James was predeceased by his brothers Patrick, John and Vincent Costello, and sisters, Maureen Coleman and Annie Heslin. He was the brother of Eugene and Martin Costello. Dear uncle to a host of nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
