Between now and 2028, employment of nurses is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations. Those who intend to pursue a nursing career can improve their likelihood of being admitted into nursing programs by taking the online National League for Nursing Pre-Admission Exam (NLN-PAX) Preparation Course at Hudson County Community College (HCCC).
The NLN-PAX Pre-Admission Exam is a rigorous, standardized test used by nursing schools throughout the United States to evaluate academic ability and identify the most qualified candidates for nursing programs. The Hudson County Community College interactive NLN-PAX Preparation Course will assist students in preparing for the exam by mastering subject matter covered in the mathematics and science portions. Students will also learn test-taking strategies that may help them achieve a high composite score.
The HCCC online NLN-PAX Preparation Course will be held on Saturdays, May 30 through June 27. Weekly video conferences with the instructor and classmates are included. Tuition is $229.
