RIZZIO, JEAN

A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Jersey City, for Jean Rizzio. A loving wife and mother, who loved to bake big, yell bingo and go swimming, she passed away peacefully at home on May 18. She was born in Jersey City to the late Alma and Edward Lawson and lived there for 84 years. Jean is survived by her sons and daughter Vincent, Anthony, Michael, John Rizzio and Carol Welsh, grandsons Kenneth and Mark Welsh. Also her siblings Grace, Martin, Ethel and James Lawson. She also had deep, meaningful connections with her predeceased husband Vincent Rizzio, Sr., son Joseph Rizzio, grandson Jay E. Welsh and siblings Ruth Koch, Mary Tierney, William, Robert and Edward Lawson. Jean’s services were held May 22, at Bayview Cemetery and Greenville Memorial Home.
