A Funeral Mass was held on June 23 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Hoboken, for Theresa Salvemini-Mancini, 92. She passed away peacefully on June 19 at her home in Weehawken. Born in Molfetta, Bari to parents, Nicolo and Caterina (nee Pisani) Salvemini. Predeceased by her husband, Celestino Mancini (1992). Theresa was Mother and Nonna who was caring and kind-hearted to everyone who knew her. Surviving are her two sons Anthony, his wife Lisa, and Nicolo Mancini. Her daughter, Grace Mancini, loved, cared, and stood by her side throughout her life. Theresa was a strong and proud woman who emigrated to Hoboken at the age of four, where she spent most of her life, before moving to Weehawken, where she resided for her remaining years surrounded by a loving household. Theresa worked at David Burr Clothing Store for twenty-five years while helping Grace raise her grandsons Michael, Stephen, and Andrew, and cherish her granddaughters Elizabeth, Jennifer, Cathryn, and Nicole.
